WHO WE ARE
THE CONOCOPHILLPS/Phillips 66 HOUSTON AREA RETIREES ASSOCIATION (CHARA)
CHARA promotes continued personal contact among those who have retired from one of the family of COP companies and provides a continued communication link with COP/PSX.
WHAT WE DO
Provide opportunities to participate in social events, benefit from speaker programs of special interest, attend local entertainment & sports events, tour areas of special interest and participate in volunteer opportunities through CONOCOPHILLIPS.
Meet the first Tuesday of each March, June, September and December at a location TBD such as MCCU, The Club at Falcon Point, etc.
Publish a quarterly newsletter in February, May, August, and November.
Maintain a website: http://www.charaonline.com
Participate in volunteer opportunities sponsored by ConocoPhillips (e.g., United Way, and Rodeo Run, etc.).
Keep you informed when fellow colleagues pass away.
MEMBERSHIP & CONTACT INFORMATION
CHARA is governed by an Executive Board composed of active members.
The Board members volunteer their time and talents to the organization.
Retiree members of CHARA pay annual dues of $5, which offset the costs of the services provided.
